Vibes Sakurai Angel Matsumoto - 2020

In Gekkan Arashi corner, two Arashi members will try to do a challenge every month. In this issue Sakurai Sho and Matsumoto Jun tried challenging ikebana. Each of them will do an arrangement with a free theme and "Arashi 21 years"
M: Sho-kun's work, please show it to me again... I'm sorry, I didn't see it (laugh).
S: It's okay. Matsujun, you were deep in concentration arranging the flowers, right.
M: I was really concentrating! Sho-kun's, this one that you arranged using Arashi colors...
S: The title would be "Celebration - 21 years" (laughs).
M: Purple, blue, yellow, red... In the middle, the green looks like a big central pillar (laughs)
S: When I found that green pillar, I thought, "This is it!" (Laughs). I felt a certainty!
M: Naturally (laughs). I also arranged one with five member colors, but it turns out to be a very different piece. Because we chose different flowers to start with.
S: That's right. When I saw it, I immediately thought, "Ah, they prepared five colors."
M: We realized it right away, right (laughs). Difficult colors like green and blue, too. But, the green one is impressive (laughs).
S: Yes (laughs). Even in flower arranging our personality comes out.
M: I was thinking a lot about it beforehand, and as I chose the flowers, I thought again, "What should I do with that?" After I'd gathered the materials, I started arranging, kind of like that. Sho-kun's big one, you started the arrangement with the leaves, right?
S: For the big one, the title is "I Want to Know Wildness" (Laughs).

M: (Laughs). That's from the first album "Arashi No.1 ~Arashi wa Arashi o Yobu!" (Laughs)
S: Ahahaha (laughs). For that one, the instructor told me that they can be used like this, like winding the leaves or cutting them, I simply wanted to try doing it (laughs).
M: It's beautiful! The balance is very good!
S: Is-is that so? (Happy)
M: Without deciding the layout, just going along with your mood, and in the end the balance is good!
S: Ikebana is life and vibes.
M: That's why "I Want to Know Wildness" (laughs).
S: My mind took a hit! But Matsujun is amazing as expected. You had a vision from the beginning. You were discussing with the instructor stuff like "I want this part here to end here." I thought, "He definitely already has an image in his head."
M: I was told by the instructor to arrange them as though I'm creating a stage.
S: When you were arranging with member colors, I heard you saying, "I want a backdrop setting." I thought, that's amazing.
M: With five colors prominent, we didn't need other colors in the back, right.
S: The one that you made with just three colors including gold, it's amazing.
M: The instructor said about the gold one, "I brought it here with Matsumoto-san's image." I had no choice but to use it (laughs).
S: Conversely, after hearing that I thought, "I can't use it." (laughs). By the way, does this arrangement have a title?
M: ... It's "Angel's Holiday."
