French Toast - 2017

From Gekkan Television 2017:

Each month from 2000, two members from Arashi will take part in a challenge for Gekkan Arashi. This time Sakurai Sho and Matsumoto Jun challenged French toast. Sakurai Sho, who likes French toast to the extent of saying, "There's dream in French toast," and Matsumoto Jun, who has challenged cooking as a chef in dramas and is an experienced cook, cooked using white bread, French bread, croissant and other things. While trying the food, the two conversed.

S: I really like french toast, you know.

M: Yes (laughs). You've been engrossed in eating it for a while now (laughs).

S: By the way, I've never made it so I learned a lot today. Using soy milk instead of cow milk, it's good.

M:  I've tried making it a lo~ng time before. Around the time when I started living on my own.

S: Ah, just as expected.

M: I also liked French toast so I thought it would be good if I made it myself.

S: Did you succeed?

 

M: I did. In a way. Certainly, I used French bread to make it.

S: I just found out today, there are many types of French toast, huh.

M: That's right. Other types of bread other than white bread can be used, there are many ways to arrange it as well.

S: Matsujun's topping skills are amazing. I can't do this kinda thing. So to avoid being a hindrance, I will just watch (laughs).

M: I can feel my history (laughs). Starting from Bambino! (2007), Arashi ni Shiyagare (NTV), I've made various cooking. I also do it for Gekkan Arashi too, for many years.

S: That's incredible.

M: Sho-kun too, if it's French toast you can make it at home, right?

S: Impossible (answered right away). It's not a problem of whether it's difficult or not, there's simply no chance to cook at home (laughs). Today too, if it's possible, I'd like to eat the delicious French toast Matsujun made.

M: Fufufufu (laughs). So that means, no matter how easy it is, it's still no good.

S: But I got to help a little, everything was delicious, so I'm very satisfied.
