Mother Sho - 2005

From an idol magazine 2005:

The members describe Sho.

A: Sho-kun is, Arashi's mother! For example, Arashi eat together, right? During that, for example the plastic bag used to keep the disposable chopsticks or plastic bottles that we've finished drinking from, or the meal boxes we've finished eating from, the garbage everyone left, the one who cleans them up is Sho-kun. That part of him who takes care of these little things, is quite motherlike, right~ He manages us during the talk in concerts, even outside work as well (rather than that, is he disciplining us?!) It really helps.

M: He's the only one who graduated from university in Arashi? If he was an animal... What, I wonder? An owl maybe. They're nocturnal, and owls are intelligent, right? If he's a family member, then he's the mother, right (laughs). Maybe everyone says that, but he's that role, definitely. His mother traits are especially shown during meals, right? Because if someone doesn't finish his meal, he'll ask, "Don't need this anymore?" and he'll finish it all off (laughs). Of course, it's not only just that though.
