When Miyama-sensei asked about the schedule earlier, I explained it loosely to him and he said, “I understand.”
That’s good, that’s good, I thought. However people around me said, “It’s not ‘roger’ but 'I understand’ so maybe he doesn’t agree with it.”
Ah.

In 2014, my buzz word is “I understand”
S: I was surprised by something my friend had said, and in that situation, instead of the usual “Roger,” I replied with, “I understand.” Everyone in my family also uses “I understand,” when we communicate. But when I sent it to my friend they were surprised, so I thought maybe other people are not using it. I use it a lot, though (laughs).
